On February 3, 2026, the oncology research team of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital visited the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley and conducted in-depth exchanges around the clinical research, translational application and Shenzhen-Hong Kong collaborative innovation of tumor cell therapy.

The visiting team is composed of multidisciplinary experts from the Department of Medical Oncology, Department of Radiation Therapy and Institute of Oncology of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital. Visiting guests include Professor Wang Shubin, Director of the Oncology Department, Professor Liu Yajie, Director of the Radiation Therapy Department, Professor Gao Jing from the Clinical Research Institute, etc.

During the exchange, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley, systematically introduced Cell Valley’s one-stop technology platform capabilities in the field of cell and gene therapy, including a GMP-grade cell preparation system that meets international standards, a complete quality management and compliance system, and overall solutions for IIT and clinical research. The expert team of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital combined the clinical practice experience of medical oncology and radiotherapy to share the current unmet clinical needs in comprehensive tumor treatment and the potential direction of cell therapy intervention.

The two parties conducted in-depth discussions focusing on the IIT clinical research design of tumor-related cell therapy, multidisciplinary combined treatment strategies, real-world research, and Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border collaborative promotion of clinical transformation, and reached a preliminary consensus on the future cooperation model for specific tumor indications.

This exchange further solidified the basis for cooperation between the hospital and the industrialization platform. Both parties stated that in the future, they will give full play to the advantages of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital in clinical resources and scientific research capabilities, as well as Cell Valley's comprehensive capabilities in cell therapy preparation, compliant delivery, and transformation, to accelerate the advancement of tumor cell therapy from scientific research exploration to standardized clinical application, and effectively benefit patients.
